Il 15 giugno è la giornata dedicata all’ ambiente che fu fissata nel 1972 dall’ Assemblea Generale Nazioni Unite. Una data che ha lo scopo di ricordare ad ogni cittadino che l’uomo vive a stretto contatto con la natura, con l’ambiente, anzi l’uomo possiamo dire viva in simbiosi con la natura e con l’ambiente. In parole povere per spiegare questo concetto possiamo tranquillamente dire che se la natura troppo contaminata morisse oppure mutasse, noi moriremmo con lei o quanto meno potremmo subire delle fortissime ripercussioni a livello di qualità di vita e della nostra stessa salute. In effetti proprio per l’inquinamento iniziato nel recente boom economico il pianeta terra starebbe subendo fortissime ripercussioni con conseguente aumento delle malattie cui oggi l’uomo è sofferente. Una delle piaghe di oggi è la contaminazione dei mari e degli oceani, pericolosamente sporcati da montagne di plastica, elemento derivato in genere dal greggio, plastica che da quando fu scoperta avrebbe da un lato semplificato la vita umana (la plastica la troviamo oggi ovunque) ma nello stesso tempo sarebbe stata divulgata a tal punto da inquinare, con i propri scarti, gli stessi mari ed oceani oltre che praterie e foreste. In effetti la plastica per finire negli oceani è necessario venga trasportata per anni dalla corrente dei fiumi e per questo è necessario che qualcuno l’abbia buttata in quei fiumi.

La dinamica è molto semplice: l’umanità per anni sarebbe stata tanto menefreghista e tornacontista da non pensare al futuro (e questo accade tutti i giorni nelle scelte dell’uomo) ma di pensare alle proprie comodità presenti, tralasciando il fattore della vita che le generazioni future avrebbero dovuto affrontare. Una delle piaghe più aperte oggi sarebbe appunto questa sfaccettatura dell’inquinamento che porterebbe certe tipologie di pesci a cibarsi anche di micro particelle di plastica, talvolta contenute in prodotti cosmetici, provocandone la morte e di conseguenza provocando anche problematiche alla nostra salute, dato che poi è ancora l’uomo a cibarsi dei pesci che restano in vita contenenti al proprio interno le pericolose particelle plastiche. Si dice che esistano punti nell’oceano con presenti intere ed immense isole di plastica, isole talmente estese da mettere in allarme l’umanità. Non è un caso che l’Unione Europea stia per varare una legge in grado di mettere al bando i tanto utilizzati piattini di plastica, bicchieri e posate realizzate con la famigerata ed inquinante plastica oltre che altri prodotti contenenti microplastiche. Uno degli aspetti negativi della plastica è di non consumarsi rapidamente anzi, questo prodotto derivato dal petrolio essendo generalmente molto resistente si degraderebbe in centinaia di anni quindi con l’odierno andamento dell’inquinamento, nel giro di poche generazioni l’umanità potrebbe provocare un vero e proprio disastro ecologico con conseguente moria di pesci e dei microorganismi presenti nei mari arrivando forse ad un punto limite. Si dice che se il mare morisse la vita umana avrebbe le ore contate. Se volessimo allargare il discorso inquinamento anche su altri aspetti di questa piaga come inquinamento dell’aria,
inquinamento della terra e via dicendo, potremmo continuare all’infinito. Qualche anno fa assistemmo ad una misteriosa moria delle api ad esempio. Einstein affermò che quando le api fossero sparite dalla terra sarebbe iniziata la moria dell’umanità, data l’importanza di questo piccolo insetto in tema impollinazione. E’ un dato di fatto che la vita umana in questi anni abbia saputo “impegnarsi moltissimo” inquinando in modo assolutamente incosciente, impegnandosi a rovinare il proprio habitat come nessuna specie vivente sulla terra abbia mai fatto. Questi sono i lati negativi della civiltà ovviamente, tuttavia è ancora possibile rimediare a mia opinione e per arrivare a questo sarebbe necessario cambiare tutti radicalmente sistema, eliminando il più possibile gli agenti inquinanti presenti su mari e terra e naturalmente mutare rapidamente mentalità iniziando a pensare non solamente al presente ma anche al futuro, al nostro futuro ma soprattutto a quello delle prossime generazioni, anche varando leggi per la realizzazione di plastiche biodegradabili e raccolte differenziate con relativo smaltimento. Tuttavia penso che l’umanità necessiterebbe soprattutto come detto precedentemente di educazione ambientale adeguata in grado di creare una nuova mentalità, ma a questo ci si arriva solamente dopo avere conquistato un forte indice di civiltà a cui nessuno purtroppo ancora è arrivato. Credo che non tutte le nazioni del pianeta siano propense a mio credere, a tenere degli standard di inquinamento basso, dato che questo significherebbe investimenti extra e tutto questo sistema potrebbe rallentare il fattore economia di certi stati, in special modo quelli emergenti, quindi in questo caso credo che ancora per un po’ il dio denaro possa avere il sopravvento su queste delicatissime decisioni anche se a mio modesto parere verrà un giorno nel quale saremo costretti a tralasciare questo falso dio ed iniziare un processo mai visto prima: la creazione di una nuova mentalità a livello mondiale.
