Villa Litta Modignani di Milano stupenda testimone dei tempi passati e perfettamente ristrutturata ospiterà il 19 ottobre un evento molto particolare: la proiezione in anteprima dell’Opera di Video-arte Criseide che verrà presentata come première al pubblico italiano ed alla critica, dopo la realizzazione ad Hollywood da parte del regista italiano Max Leonida. Il 17 ottobre l’opera verrà proiettata anche a Roma precisamente a Montecitorio presso la sala stampa della Camera dei Deputati per una presentazione ufficiale alle istituzioni sociali italiane. Interverrà per l’occasione la protagonista, Simona Sanfilippo e la produttrice dell’opera Paola Cipollina. Criseide: un tema di forte attualità basato sulla condizione femminile nell’attuale società e nella nostra vita ma anche nella nostra politica, particolare molto importante per il fatto che dalle scelte politiche che vengono man mano attuate si avrà la possibilità di poter avere per certi versi anche un certo stile di vita. In Italia comunque sia penso che in tema di parità fra uomo e donna si siano fatti grandi passi confronto al passato anche se credo che tanti ne dovranno essere ancora fatti. Chi è Criseide? Criseide riporta alla tragica vicenda narrata dal grande poeta Omero nell’Iliade. La vicenda di Criseide presentata durante la première è stata scritta dallo stesso regista, Max Leonida ed è basata sull’idea oltre che sul soggetto originale della protagonista Simona Sanfilippo. La produzione come accennato in precedenza è di Paola Cipollina. Un video realizzato interamente nella mecca del cinema, Hollywood, dove il regista e le produttrice vivono da oltre sette anni. Hanno partecipato alla realizzazione di Criseide un team assolutamente italo americano composto da un gruppo di bravi e grandi professionisti cui la metà proviene da quell’Italia capace ancora di affermare l’eccellenza nel mondo intero. 
L’opera vuole narrare la condizione femminile ed il doloroso cammino di liberazione della donna di oggi e di sempre, una tematica sempre scottante dato che anche oggi, nonostante i progressi raggiunti, siamo spesso protagonisti di maltrattamenti subiti dalle donne e femminicidio, particolari che non fanno altro che confermare il fatto che la così detta parità dei diritti fra uomo e donna, nonostante le importanti conquiste non sia ancora del tutto raggiunta, almeno nella nostra odierna società che ripeto, ha fatto veramente progressi nell’ultimo trentennio. Purtroppo la parità fra uomo e donna vista nel globale, il mondo intero, ha ancora molti passi da fare, in altre culture resta purtroppo addirittura una chimera forse irraggiungibile. Possiamo tranquillamente affermare che al mondo sia necessario camminare ancora molto per poter raggiungere la parità dei diritti, una parità necessaria per poter guadagnare un vero e proprio traguardo di civiltà. L’opera porta a delle dovute riflessioni, a quanto siamo ancora nonostante tutto stereotipati da schemi comportamentali antiquati e privi di attualità e di senso. Basata sulla grande esperienza dell’attrice Simona Sanfilippo Crieide si è sviluppata in sinergia con il regista Max Leonida, all’inizio in una serie di videoconferenze dato che l’attrice vive in Italia mentre il regista a Los Angeles. Nelle videoconferenze fra l’attrice ed il regista il tema veniva sempre più analizzato ed espresso nella sua completezza. Da qui sarebbe nato il profondo desiderio di tradurre il tutto in immagini, in un breve film d’arte in grado di esprimersi meglio di tante parole. Sin dalla realizzazione possiamo dire che l’opera abbia suscitato molto interesse da parte delle istituzioni italiane ma anche americane, tutti hanno colto e accolto il messaggio che l’opera vuole trasmettere.
