In questo numero sempre dedicato alle elezioni amministrative del 26 maggio vi presenteremo un terzo candidato in appoggio della lista Solo Montichiari Guglielmo Tenca Sindaco, la lista civica che a Montichiari sta facendo parlare più di ogni altro gruppo politico, in quanto la sola importante novità nel panorama pollitico della cittadina del basso Garda. Per questo intervisteremo Gianni Spagnolo candidato consigliere per la lista civica Solo Montichiari.
Gianni per iniziare questa intervista le chiediamo una breve presentazione?
Sono originario della Puglia, di Brindisi, divenni monteclarense nel 1990 quanto dalla città pugliese mi trasferii a Montichiari. Già in quegli anni a Montichiari si respirava aria di città, il paese era già un ricordo. Essendo abituato alla città debbo dire che fra me e Montichiari fu subito amore a prima vista, pertanto pensai di rimanere.
Di cosa si occupa?
Lavoro come dipendente in un’ azienda della zona.
Perchè ha scelto Solo Montichiari, la lista di Guglielmo Tenca Sindaco?
Prima di tutto ho conosciuto il nostro candidato Sindaco che ritengo sia una persona veramente onesta e capace, inoltre ho scelto la lista civica Solo Montichiari per il fatto che non credo appieno nei simboli politici e so per certo che il gruppo che la compone ha fatto tanto per tanti concretamente e credo fermamente nel volontariato e nel reciproco aiuto. Oggi la politica tradizionale è lì da vedere, eccetto qualche “bolla” ogni tanto posso dire che la politica dei partiti ci abbia portato nella condizione in cui siamo, con questo non voglio dire che in Italia si stia male tuttavia si potrebbe star meglio, con meno delinquenza ad esempio, con leggi che possano venire applicate e tanto altro. Penso che la politica sana debba iniziare dai singoli cittadini, (che francamente purtroppo non vedo nutrire un grande interesse per la politica) per poi arrivare ai paesi e quindi cambiare a livello nazionale e pertanto successivamente a livello europeo.
Si ritiene un idealista?
Su certe cose perchè no? Su altre sono assolutamente concreto.
Come ritiene Montichiari oggi?
Ritengo Montichiari da sempre una bella cittadina, migliorata nel corso degli anni ma dal punto di vista ambientale devo dire che a mia opinione sia oggi la “terra dei fuochi” del nord Italia purtroppo, dopotutto non si può avere tutto: la “botte piena e moglie ubriaca” è impossibile averla, sono due cose incompatibili. Le migliorie effettuate a Montichiari sono state portate a termine per i cittadini ma sono costate tanto nell’ambito ambientale e con questo non critico le precedenti amministrazioni, hanno nel bene e nel male dovuto fatto delle scelte, talvolta forse obbligate…. 
Talvolta penso che di scelte per il bene dei cittadini in una certa politica non se ne facciano neppure, in certi casi si tende a scegliere puramente per il potere o per altro pensando solamente a se stessi. Non è stato a mia opinione il caso di Montichiari dove le migliorie effettuate negli anni sono sotto gli occhi di tutti, poi possono piacere o meno tuttavia ci sono e la cittadinanza ne usufruisce. Con questo non difendo le discariche anzi! Fosse per me avrei scelto diversamente. Il nostro movimento ha un programma molto ferrato sull’ambiente.
Lei sente molto il fattore ambiente?
Si per me è molto importante in quanto amo natura ed animali, insomma preferirei un’ ecosistema sano, dopotutto noi uomini viviamo se l’ecosistema è sano, facciamo parte della natura e viviamo se essa è sana ed se i suoi equilibri sono intatti.
Cosa auspica per Montichiari?
Una politica nuova fatta di ascolto e trasparenza. Mi auguro una continuazione nella buona gestione della cosa pubblica, un mantenimento di tutte le opere grandi o piccole che le amministrazioni precedenti hanno realizzato, opere pagate con i denari della cittadinanza, quindi un dovere civico e morale mantenerle, come ad esempio il velodromo che è costato moltissimo ed è giusto funzioni, questo anche solo per rispetto verso i cittadini ed il loro sacrifici economici. Auspico un maggiore aiuto verso le persone e le famiglie più disagiate. Il nostro movimento è unito, compatto nell’ ambito del sociale.
Se doveste andare al ballottaggio?
In questo caso non guarderemo i simboli politici ma vigileremo perchè coloro che ci volessero accanto facciano proprio il nostro programma quindi lo portino a termine, noi saremo ben vigili sul fatto che il nostro programma venga mantenuto in caso di ballottaggio ma siccome mi piace essere positivo spero vinceremo in prima battuta.
Come vede la politica oggi?
La vedo come dovrebbe essere da sempre: voglia di offrire un ottimo servizio ai cittadini, un servizio che ritengo essere un sacrificio ma che possa essere utile a tutti ed alle prossime generazioni. In politica penso sia necessario essere lungimiranti, di contro talvolta si è completamente ciechi.
