Talvolta si tende a credere che la chiesa sia infallibilmente santa, tuttavia capiamo guardando agli accadimenti dei nostri giorni che non è così ed effettivamente non c’è da “stacciarsi le vesti” venendo a conoscenza di questo particolare, diciamo che la chiesa non è mai stata totalmente santa quindi per essere chiari possiamo affermare che da sempre sia santa e peccatrice. Santa perché custode delle verità divine e per il fatto di essere il filo diretto con Cristo ma allo stesso tempo peccatrice per il fatto che comunque sia non è composta che da uomini, poveri uomini: i ministri di Cristo e gli appartenenti ad essa. Dobbiamo ricordare che neppure il capo della chiesa Pietro fu perfetto; un giorno il Maestro gli disse la celebre frase “ via, lontano da me, Satana” ma non finì per il santo che addirittura arrivò a rinnegare l’amico e Maestro Gesù al famoso “canto del gallo”, nonostante tutto Gesù lo fece capo della propria chiesa, una chiesa immersa oggi nel mondo, un mondo satanico, un mondo che cerca di relegare Cristo ad una barzelletta di altri tempi, la chiesa di oggi si trova immersa in un pantano molto difficoltoso da gestire, la barca di Pietro come sempre ed  oggi ancora di più si trova nel bel mezzo di una feroce tempesta. Possiamo dire di essere di fronte ad una chiesa tentata da satana in tutto e per tutto. Vangelo: “siate nel mondo ma non del mondo” una frase molto significativa quasi una predizione della chiesa futura, d’altronde quando si cercasse di capire i tempi che stiamo vivendo se avessimo almeno un po’ di conoscenza delle sacre scritture potremmo renderci conto di che dono ci ha fatto Dio regalandoci la Bibbia che non è solamente un libro storico, un semplice libro da leggere, un trascorso della vita umana, ma un concentrato di profezie, profezie che inevitabilmente si starebbero avverando una dopo l’altra. Vangelo: “Ma quando il Figlio dell’uomo tornerà troverà ancora fede sulla terra?” Che dire di fronte a questa domanda ? Lo specchio dei nostri giorni, i giorni in cui l’uomo insiste prepotentemente per sedersi sul trono di Dio e quindi sostituisce Dio con se stesso, una creatura imperfetta spostando la perfetta verità divina ad un credo limitato e fallace, prestando fede solamente a se stesso ed alle sue voglie. Detto questo è inutile stupirsi se nella chiesa e nello stesso mondo assistiamo oggi ad ogni genere di peccato, d’altronde l’uomo è imperfetto per sua natura e la tentazione peccaminosa si abbatte su qualunque creatura umana compreso i ministri di Dio. Vangelo: “Maledetto l’uomo che confida nell’uomo, che pone nella carne il suo sostegno e il cui cuore si allontana dal Signore”.
In un articolo piuttosto ampio Benedetto XVI mette in risalto la crisi morale della chiesa che a suo parere è da collegare alla “liberazione sessuale del 68” e che oggi a mia opinione si rivela per quello che è nella sua completezza: una catastrofe sociale ben lontana dall’essere considerata come spesso accade una conquista della società, una sorta di porta spalancata ad ogni genere di libertinaggio mescolato ad una certa mentalità di relativismo della morale teologica oltre che, secondo Benedetto XVI, una forte incomprensione del concilio Vaticano secondo. Nel caso del mondo odierno il rifiuto di Dio da parte di una grossa frangia della società attuale porterebbe ad una grave incomprensione fra il bene ed il male. Possiamo affermare che in effetti il più moderno tentativo del “mondo” sia proprio quello di sdoganare il male come bene, ed il bene come un “bigottismo di altri tempi” portando alla rovina l’intera umanità, un’ umanità sempre più ubriaca di libertinaggio che giorno dopo giorno alza sempre più il limite massimo, un meccanismo che porterebbe al consumare ogni genere di peccato ma anche all’avallo della pedofilia, un gravissima mancanza. Vangelo: “Sarebbe meglio per lui che una macina da mulino gli fosse messa al collo e fosse gettato nel mare, piuttosto che scandalizzare uno solo di questi piccoli”. Secondo il Papa emerito il recupero della fede, del mistero Eucaristico e della testimonianza sarebbero la strada del rinnovamento sociale e non solo anche della stessa chiesa. Città del Vaticano (AsiaNews) – “Solo dove la fede non determina più l’agire degli uomini sono possibili tali delitti”. Queste le parole di Benedetto XVI in merito agli scandali avvenuti in seno alla chiesa relativamente alla pedofilia, uno dei mali che uniti talvolta alla mancanza di fede di alcuni prelati starebbero portando molte pecore fuori dal gregge di Cristo. Tuttavia sono certo che la “barca di Pietro” non affonderà mai per le tempeste del mondo ma non per merito dell’uomo, la creatura fallace che la compone, ma grazie alla protezione di Cristo. Vangelo: “E io ti dico: Tu sei Pietro e su questa pietra edificherò la mia chiesa e le porte degli inferi non prevarranno contro di essa”.
